WOMEN
Thrapston Football Club Women, formerly known as Thrapston Town Ladies, have been delivering competitive women’s football since 2011.
The team currently plays in Division One South of the East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League, placing them at Tier 6 of the Women’s Football Pyramid. Home fixtures take place on Sunday afternoons at Castle Playing Fields, Chancery Lane in Thrapston.
The club maintains a strong local focus, providing opportunities for senior women to compete at a high level while representing their community with pride and commitment.

OUR HISTORY
Formed in 2011, Thrapston Town Ladies gave local women the chance to play competitive football for their town. Success came quickly, with Northamptonshire Women’s League Division 2 and Division 1 titles, plus County Cup wins.
Over the years, the team has grown into an inclusive, competitive squad, welcoming players from all backgrounds and inspiring the next generation.
When the men’s senior side folded in 2022, the Ladies proudly carried the Thrapston Town name in senior football, competing in the East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League.
In 2025, we united with the men’s and junior sections to form Thrapston FC – sharing the same badge, values, and vision for the future of football in our town.
