We’ve kicked off something special – and the energy was unreal.

Last Saturday marked the launch of our brand new Thrapston FC Girls Player Pathway, and the first taster session couldn’t have gone better. From the moment boots hit the pitch, the atmosphere was buzzing. A great turnout, brilliant effort from all the girls, and parents lining the sidelines with full support.

This wasn’t just a training session – it was the start of a movement. One that gives young girls the chance to grow their skills, build confidence, and be part of a club that backs them 100%.

Shout-out to the amazing coaches and volunteers who gave up their Saturday morning to make it happen. These sessions don’t run themselves – it’s the dedication behind the scenes that brings the pitch to life.

You’ve helped lay the first foundations for what we know will become a strong and thriving girls’ football programme in Thrapston.

Couldn’t make the first session? No problem. Our regular girls’ football sessions will run every other Monday, 6:30pm to 7:30pm, at Titchmarsh Playing Fields. The next one kicks off on Monday 18 August – and we’d love to see even more girls out there.

Whether your child’s just starting out or already football-mad, these sessions are the perfect chance to give it a go in a friendly, welcoming environment.
